Lisa Levine joined Calypso Medical Technologies, Inc. in November 2001, with 10 years of R&D and clinical research experience in the medical device industry. As Senior Director of Clinical and Pre-Market Regulatory Affairs, Dr. Levine is responsible for laboratory, preclinical and clinical testing.

Prior to joining Calypso Medical, Dr. Levine was with two start-ups focused on cardiovascular products, including a product that utilized magnetic fields to determine the location of medical devices in the body. Before that she worked in R&D and clinical research on cardiac ablation catheters and internal defibrillators at Medtronic.

Dr. Levine earned a bachelor of science degree in physics from the California Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. degree in biophysics from Stanford University.
